Acrylic and mixed media on canvas

This piece was inspired by vines, trees, and roots. It was created during a period in my life when I moved to a different part of the world at a young age and was simultaneously learning the new environment and myself. I was trying to root myself in a sense. The brushstrokes and colours are a representation of the journey, the emotions and contrasts that were present.
